Alih-alih berkutat di bengkel atau ruang kuliah, mereka berkunjung ke lahan pertanian hidroponik di wilayah Arjosari-Malang pada 8 Oktober 2025. Tujuan mereka bukan sekadar jalan-jalan, tapi untuk melihat langsung penerapan ilmu dari mata kuliah Teknik Perpipaan dan Sensor-sensor dunia nyata. Setibanya di lokasi, mahasiswa disambut sistem hidroponik tanaman selada air yang tumbuh subur tanpa tanah, hanya dengan air yang mengalir melalui jaringan pipa rapi. Tak hanya itu, sensor-sensor bekerja secara otomatis, menjadi bagian penting dari sistem ini. Mengatur kadar air, pH, hingga intensitas cahaya agar tanaman tumbuh optimal. \u201cMahasiswa bisa melihat langsung bagaimana teori di kelas benar-benar diterapkan. Sistem perpipaan hidroponik ini contoh nyata bagaimana teknologi berperan besar dalam menciptakan pertanian cerdas. Kalian bisa merancang dan mengembangkan sistem perpipaan, melakukan estimasi kebutuhan dan biaya yang dibutuhkan untuk membuat sistem hidroponik beserta instalasi agar menjadi smart farming, mampu bekerja 1&#215;24 jam dan 7 hari dalam seminggu\u201d ujar Shafiq dalam diskusi Bersama mahasiswa dan pemilik usaha hidroponik.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Antusiasme mahasiswa terlihat jelas. Mereka aktif berdiskusi dengan pengelola pertanian Bapak Novta Dany\u2019el Irawan, menanyakan detail teknis hingga ide pengembangan sistem otomatis berbasis mikrokontroler. Bagi sebagian mahasiswa, kunjungan ini membuka pandangan baru. \u201cTernyata ilmu perpipaan dan sensor bisa diterapkan di banyak bidang, termasuk pertanian. Menarik banget!\u201d ungkap Hafif mahasiswa asal Blitar. Kegiatan kunjungan ini bukan hanya menambah wawasan teknis, tapi juga menumbuhkan semangat inovasi dan kepedulian terhadap pertanian berkelanjutan.
